Meet Teresa, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and former Women's National Team rowing athlete, with nearly ten years of experience in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of youth and young adults in various settings, including public and private school systems, as well as the non-profit sector. She specializes in working with youth and families, particularly teenagers and young adults aged 12 to 30, aiming to empower them on their path to emotional well-being, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and stress management.

Teresa’s unique approach is marked by creating a safe and secure space for youth to explore their strengths, develop self-compassion, establish healthy boundaries, and navigate the development of their 'sense of self.' She guides clients in enhancing self-esteem and confidence, managing relationships, addressing body image concerns, coping with moderate addiction issues, navigating life transitions, and finding resilience in the face of grief, loss, and perfectionism.

Teresa's therapeutic toolbox includes evidence-based therapies like Attachment Theory, Mindfulness-Based Approaches, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She incorporates creative expression and movement into her sessions to foster strong therapeutic relationships. Teresa is committed to empowering you to overcome challenges, find resilience, and achieve emotional well-being.
